This was a wonderful presentation by Douglas Chalmers & Elizabeth Hart from Tremco.  They provided pizza and soda to satisfy our taste buds while Elizabeth's presentation satisfied our sight and thoughts.

This presentation covered the general aspects of Photovoltaics, Green Roofs and Energy Star Design.  We covered what the energy star ratings mean for Cool Roofing, the multiple options available for photovoltaics and reviewed the vegetated roofing designs. 

We had around 30 participants ranging from professionals to students from MJC.  There were many questions reagrding the specific content which Elizabeth presented and much discussion after the presentation.

All in all it was a great presentation which had people buzzing about what can we do in the Central Valley to make this a 'greener' community.  We plan on having other sustainable presentations regarding other building components throughout the year.
