David Burkett, AIA

David Burkett is a Registered Architect with over 15 years of experience.  Giving back to the community has been important throughout his career. This principle has provided focus in his role as the current AIAsv President, Treasurer for the Modesto Art Muse, Co-founder of the Modesto Architecture festival, and a member of the Modesto Downtown Urban Design Group. After studying architecture in Arizona, David Burkett returned to California to start a family and pursue a career in architecture.

Carolyn is a Registered Architect with over 9 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis.

Carolyn has served on the AIA SV in several capacities, beginning in 2006 as Associate Director. She lives in Stockton with her husband Dan and their two children, Daphne and Henry.

Barrett Lipomi is a Registered Architect with over 15 years of architectural design experience. He has a wide range of experience including civic, education, healthcare and commercial facilities. Barrett received his Bachelor of Architecture from University of Oregon in 2013 and has been actively involved in many community organizations including  City of Modesto Landmark Preservation Commission, Modesto Art Museum, Modesto International Architecture Festival, and Downtown Modesto Partnership.
